PEOPLES OF THE INK BETWEEN · 3 HEROES
Dragon
The keeper and the hoard
True dragons, distinct from humanoid dragonkin.
Dragon hoards in the Ink Between contain more than treasure. Some collect vanished languages, promises, beautiful failures or the last surviving accounts of lost places. To a being whose life can outlast a kingdom, deciding what to keep becomes a question of responsibility as much as appetite.
The crossings brought dragons into contact with stories even they could not possess completely. A dragon champion enters the arena for reasons proportionate to an enormous personality: curiosity, pride, duty or a challenge too delicious to refuse. These are true dragons, distinct from the many peoples with draconic ancestry.

Dragon describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
