Minotaur

The way chosen inward

Bull-headed folk of formidable strength and presence.

Minotaur traditions often use the labyrinth as a tool for thought rather than a prison. A path can teach patience, reveal an assumption or make a person confront the reason they entered. Their builders, guides and storytellers carried this practice into crossing-cities, where the greatest maze was frequently the city’s competing loyalties.

Some champions honor these traditions; others prefer a wonderfully direct solution. Formidable strength belongs to individuals with very different ambitions. A minotaur enters the arena knowing that finding a way forward and understanding why it matters are separate achievements. A good victory may require both.

Ancestry is a beginning.

Minotaur describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
