Dragonkin

Inheritance without obedience

People with draconic ancestry, scales or other dragon traits.

Dragonkin inherit a visible relationship with an extraordinary past. Scales, horns and ancestral stories can attract reverence in one world and suspicion in the next. Along the crossings, their communities built their own houses of memory, preserving the distinctions between living people and the dragons others expected them to resemble.

Some embrace a grand lineage; others choose the quiet freedom of an ordinary name. Their champions carry that tension into battle through disciplined craft, restless ambition or protective duty. Draconic ancestry is the beginning of a story, never an instruction about how the person inside it must behave.

Ancestry is a beginning.

Dragonkin describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
