Plantfolk
Roots that choose a road
Living botanical or fungal peoples, including dryads.
Plantfolk belong to many botanical and fungal lineages, with histories shaped by growth, dormancy and interdependence. Some communities think of a place as a conversation across generations of roots. Others travel as freely as any wanderer, carrying a cutting, a spore or simply the memory of familiar light.
The crossings opened paths between climates and ways of living. Plantfolk champions may defend threatened habitats, study unfamiliar worlds or seek a life beyond the expectations of their grove. Their arena stories pair deep connection with personal agency: having roots does not mean being unable to leave.
