Troll

Stories older than the road

Towering, resilient folk of wild places, stone and deep-rooted traditions.

Troll waystones mark places where the wilderness allowed a road to pass. Their oldest tales speak of agreements with rivers, weather and patient stone: take what you need, remember what it cost, and leave a path for those who follow. Communities developed in wildly different landscapes, each with its own understanding of endurance.

Some trolls carry these traditions solemnly; others wear them in brilliant colors and irreverent songs. Their resilience supports many callings, not merely brute force. Troll champions may be careful guardians, dazzling performers or uncompromising hunters. In the arena, they show that surviving hardship and being defined by it are very different things.

Ancestry is a beginning.

Troll describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
