Fae

At the edge of an agreement

Otherworldly folk of enchantment and liminal places.

Fae stories gather at thresholds: the last light before night, the path between familiar trees, the moment a promise becomes binding. Their courts and wandering households preserve elaborate traditions of exchange, hospitality and interpretation. What sounds like ornament to a visitor may carry a precise and consequential meaning.

Some fae delight in these intricacies; others flee them. Their champions can be mercurial performers, careful negotiators or fierce protectors of a chosen attachment. The arena offers unusually explicit rules, which may be a relief or a fascinating inconvenience. Enchantment is an inheritance; how to use it remains a decision.

Ancestry is a beginning.

Fae describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
