Gnome

A question with moving parts

Small folk drawn to invention, discovery and intricate workings.

Gnomish workshops grew around questions nobody else considered practical. Could a lantern remember dawn? Could a broken gate be persuaded to open somewhere kinder? Their early experiments along the crossings produced marvels, spectacular failures and a tradition of documenting both with equal care. Discovery was a conversation anyone could join.

Gnomes are not all engineers. Musicians, investigators and spellwrights share a fascination with the hidden workings of things. Their champions treat the arena as a place where elegant theory meets an inconvenient opponent. Curiosity brings them through the gate; courage keeps them there when the experiment answers back.

Ancestry is a beginning.

Gnome describes a race, not a combat restriction. Race does not grant an automatic combat bonus or passive ability. Resistances and weaknesses belong to each hero’s individual combat profile. The heroes below have their own lineages and classes. Their individual profiles tell the stories that make them distinct.
